Microcohort provides online computer science tutoring with Zain Sadaqat. For privacy questions or requests, email zain@microcohort.org.

Enquiries and tutoring

If you contact us, we use the details you provide to respond and discuss tutoring. The website’s enquiry form opens a draft in your email app; it does not submit or store the form on our website. Sending the draft shares its contents with your email provider and us. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in an initial enquiry.

Website hosting and external services

Vercel hosts this website and processes technical information, such as IP addresses and requests, to deliver and protect it. Fonts are served directly from our website; your browser does not contact Google Fonts. Links to booking, messaging and social platforms take you to services governed by their own privacy policies.

Optional Google Analytics

If you accept analytics, we use Google Analytics to understand visits, pages viewed, approximate countries and cities, devices, and referring websites. Google processes this information for analytics. We do not send enquiry form contents or intentionally send names, email addresses or phone numbers to Analytics. Our page-view tracking omits URL query strings and fragments.

Analytics is disabled until you choose “Accept analytics”. Rejecting it does not prevent you from using the website. We do not enable Google signals or advertising personalisation. We do not use session recordings or display advertising as part of this setup.

Cookies and local storage

We store your analytics choice in your browser for up to 180 days. If accepted, Google Analytics uses cookies such as _ga and _ga_*, configured with a 180-day expiry that may be renewed during visits. Your theme and accessibility preferences may also be stored locally so the website remembers them.

Use “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page to change your choice. Rejecting analytics stops future collection and clears this site’s Analytics cookies. It does not automatically delete data already processed by Google. Clearing browser storage removes your saved preferences.

How information is used and retained

We use enquiries to provide the information or service you request and technical data to operate the site. Optional analytics is based on your consent. Enquiries are kept as needed to respond, provide tutoring, and meet applicable obligations. Providers manage their own operational records under their policies.

Your choices

You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have provided. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights, including the right to object to processing or complain to your local data protection authority. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time through Cookie settings.

Students and parents

Parents and guardians can contact us about a student’s information or arrange tutoring on their behalf. Please contact us if a child has shared personal information that you would like us to review or remove.
