A small quiz to make your own
answer = input("What is 3 * 4? ")
if answer == "12":
    print("You got it!")
else:
    print("Try three groups of four.")

Start with one question. Then let your child choose a topic, add a score and build another round.

Learn it, then put it to work.

Choose a starting point together. A beginner might build a question-and-answer quiz; a student with Scratch experience might start with a guessing game. We move forward when your child can explain and change the code, not just copy it.

What your lessons look like

You don’t need to be the CS teacher.
I handle the coding explanations. At the trial, we’ll agree on a starting point, a learning goal and how you’d like to review your child’s progress.
A plan beyond the next tutorial.
Start with small programs, then build a quiz, a game or a useful tool. Each project gives the next lesson a purpose, instead of sending your child back to random YouTube videos.
A pace your family can keep.
Tell me your time zone and homeschool schedule. We’ll agree on available lesson times and manageable practice between sessions, then revisit anything that needs more time.
Someone to notice when they get stuck.
We’ll look at what your child tried, talk through the mistakes and choose a clear next step. Progress means being able to explain and change their own code.

Questions about Python

It can be. We can connect familiar Scratch ideas such as loops, variables and decisions to typed Python, starting with short programs before building a quiz or game. Scratch experience is helpful, but not required.

Yes. The starting point depends on the student’s experience, confidence with typing and goals, rather than grade alone. We use the free trial to choose a suitable pace and first project.

No. Zain teaches the programming. We can agree on learning goals and how you want to review projects and progress, so you can stay involved without having to teach Python yourself.

We can build a structured learning plan from Python basics through projects, or work on a specific gap. Agree on the scope, practice expectations and schedule at the trial. These are live tutoring lessons, not an accredited school course or a promise of academic credit.

Lessons are online. Send your time zone and a few suitable times so Zain can check availability. Lesson pacing can be adjusted to your child and your family’s schedule.

Python builds useful problem-solving habits. AP Computer Science A uses Java, so the next step would include learning Java and the exam framework. AP Computer Science Principles has a broader focus. We can discuss either route when your child is ready.

Yes. Every lesson is live and one to one with Zain. A free trial is available. Choose hourly lessons or a package of 4, 8, 12 or 16 one-hour lessons. We agree on availability and the schedule before you book.

Live, one-to-one lessons with Zain cost $15 USD per hour, with a free trial. Packages of 4, 8, 12 and 16 one-hour lessons cost $60, $120, $180 and $240 USD.
